Getting Ready!

On Sunday we got our house ready for Christmas. Schaeffer and Faith decorated the tree. Bishop watched and snoozed on and off. The tree looks beautiful and Jason and I had fun just watching our three kids interact.

Wisdom of a 5 Year Old

Schaeffer has decided to "talk to God" every time he is faced with a decision to make. He is praying to God because, "God is the smartest person he knows and He knows everything." We have not told him to do this, he has just decided to do it on his own. I think Jason and I will follow his example as well. I am so proud of him!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with several family members. Schaeffer and Ellen had a great time playing on Nanny's bed.

Schaeffer and Pappy

After Jason's game the other night Pappy and Schaeffer spent some time together. First Schaeffer dressed up like his Daddy in a Mustang shirt and a tie. Then Schaeffer and Pappy played with the Voice Memo Recordings on Pappy's iphone. I don't know who had more fun Pappy or Schaeffer.

Bishop Comes Home

Bishop is two weeks old and everything is going great. Mom and baby have some time at home and then always look forward to 3:30 when Schaeffer gets home from school.

New Family Member

Faith and Schaeffer had a new baby brother born on November 17, 2009. His name is Bishop Vining Underwood. Bishop is after Jason's grandmother and Vining is after my grandmother. Bishop and Vining were their maiden names. He is a great baby and Schaeffer and Faith have been great siblings. We are now a family of 5 and with the start of basketball season, Mom and Dad are very busy!

Kindergarten Programs

Schaeffer has been busy at school with a Halloween Program, Veteran's Day Program and a Thanksgiving Program. He did an excellent job. We are blessed to be in Claude and have him attend such a wonderful school.

Halloween

We had an excellent Halloween. Faith was Daphne from Scooby Doo. She outgrew her outfit from when she tried it on Wednesday night to the next Saturday. She had problems with her Daphne wig all night. I think she had more fun helping Ellen than she did actually dressing up. Schaeffer went as Superman. He had more fun passing out candy at TJ's than he did actually Trick-r-Treating. Ellen dressed up as a skeleton. She loved a sucker that she had gotten along the way. Harper dressed up as a pumpkin and he just enjoyed the ride!

Faith Turns 9

Faith had her 9th birthday party at the WT swimming pool. She had a great time with her cousins. They swam, ate cake and opened presents. Schaeffer had to miss because he had the flu.

Batman & New Haircut

Schaeffer got a new haircut and new pajamas today in town.

September

We are over half way through September. Time is flying by. We are all busy in school. Schaeffer and I love being at Claude. We love getting to come straight home after school. We also love getting to see Jason all the time as well. Here is an update on us:

First Day of School!

Rala & Schaeffer started a new school today. Rala began at Claude High School and Schaeffer at Claude Elementary. It was a little scary for both of us as we walked into the school today. Schaeffer went off to Kindergarten. He walked right in and hung up his backpack and lunch box. When Jason and I left his room, we both had a little tear that our baby was starting Kindergarten. The day went well and everyone had a great day. It was so nice for all three of us to be in Claude.

Disneyland

Our family went to Disneyland this summer. We loved every minute of it. Mammy, Pappy, Nanny, That, Jerry, Buffie, Texi, Farmer, Hondo, Jason, Faith, Schaeffer and I all went. We went to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Venice Beach and Knott's Berry Farm. Faith got to spend time with Texi and Schaeffer got to hang out with Farmer and Hondo. For a special treat, Uncle Matt, came over and visited with us as well.
